i was looking at the list of novels, novellas, shorts and graphic novels from last year and thinking about what i would like to read this year. mostly because last year was, with the exception of my senior year of high school (2004-2005) the best year for reading i've ever had. on top of that, last year had a lot of long novels, many of which went over 700 pages in hardcover.
so, this is a list of things i hope to read throughout 2010. some of them are on the list because i just want to read something by that author, some are upcoming books, and others are just books by authors that i fell into last year or the year before. a couple are also re-reads, and the list is long, so i do not expect to make it anywhere near the end... but i do want to see what DOES get read throughout the year.
plus, i'll undoubtably get lost in other books that come out through the year (king's 2010 (novel untitled/undated), palahniuk's 2010 novel tell all, others)... which also explains why i won't make it through the list.
Anyway...
